Ora, è vero che è il seguito di Shining il che vuol dire andare a toccare uno dei mostri sacri dell’opera kinghiana. Ma sono fiduciosa. Se se l’è sentita lui di rimetterci in qualche modo le mani, sicuramente sa quello che sta facendo.
Operazione commerciale? Non credo, semplicemente per il fatto che non ne ha bisogno. E’ un autore che riuscirebbe a vendere anche la lista della spesa scritta a matita sulla carta igienica, non ha bisogno di riagganciarsi ai vecchi successi. Sono molto più propensa a credere che in quella storia, o nelle strade che ha aperto, ci fosse ancora qualcosa di sepolto che il caro vecchio zio Steve ha deciso di riportare alla luce.
La carta, lo schermo, la parola, lo sguardo
